BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
MuniRevs Inc d/b/a LodgingRevs was awarded a contract on February 11, 2019 as a provider for a short-term rental compliance system and automated licensing and tax remittance system. The contract terms and conditions require City approval for a change of name (novation). GovOS, Inc. confirmed documentation of their acquition and name change from MuniRevs, Inc d/b/a LodgingRevs effective January 1, 2022. City services have not been affected or disrupted by the transfer of ownership.
With this assignment, GovOS assumes and agrees to perform the obligations under the contracts. GovOS has committed to assuming the existing terms and conditions of the contract with the City including pertinent scope, budget and fee schedule for the
short-term rental compliance system and automated licensing and tax remittance system. The same Project Manager and team of professionals will remain with GovOS, Inc.
Staff is recommending approval of assignment change for the Professional Services Agreement for GovOS, Inc.

The contract reassignments will not have a budget impact.
