BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

On March 23, 2026, the Downtown Parking Revenue Advisory Committee identified three categories for parking revenue reinvestments:

1.                     Pedestrian Safety and Comfort

2.                     Improved Parking Experience

3.                     Additional Parking Supply

On March 30, 2026, the three reinvestment categories were unanimously approved by the Downtown Board with additional direction to hire a City employee to dedicate 40 or more hours per week to Downtown beautification efforts - funded by the Parking Revenue Fund.

This presentation and discussion will identify parking revenue-funded projects that have been completed and those in the queue for completion. Additional discussion will be facilitated to identify project ideas for FY27.

ISSUE:

Both the Downtown Parking Revenue Advisory Committee and Downtown Board have supported revenue-funded projects in three reinvestment categories. This presentation will provide an update on projects completed, in the queue, and ideas for FY27.
