BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Downtown Parking Revenue Advisory Standing Committee was established by City Council to improve downtown parking access and mobility, guide strategic reinvestment of parking revenues, support economic vitality and safety, advise on parking policy and operations, and serve as a liaison to ensure benefits to the entire downtown area. This item will review discussion at the February 5, 2026, parking committee meeting where categories of expenditures and potential policy updates were presented.
ISSUE:
The Committee may finalize their selected revenue reinvestment categories or projects and policy changes. Recommendations by this committee will be forwarded to the Downtown Board for approval and potential implementation.
