BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The RWEA Bylaws address Ex-Officio Membership and extend this classification to regional school districts and post-secondary educational institutions - for those wishing to serve on the RWEA Committee.
Representatives from Texas State Technical College and Northeast Lakeview College at New Braunfels routinely attend RWEA meetings, but do not hold active membership.
This discussion will address Ex-Officio Membership and extend the invitation for representatives to obtain formal RWEA membership. Per the RWEA Bylaws, “All Ex-Officio members appointed must follow board and commission appointment application procedures as prescribed by the City of New Braunfels and the City of Seguin.”
