BACKGROUND / RATIONALE:
The Downtown Board has eleven regular members serving three year staggered terms. Due to resignation, the vacancy for this committee was posted from August 15, 2017, to September 14, 2017.
One qualified application was submitted for the vacancy:
• Ian Perez
Applicant’s current & prior service on Boards and Commissions
Ian Perez currently serves on the Downtown Board as an at-large member, but he wishes to serve as the representative of the Chamber of Commerce at this time. The Chamber of Commerce has also expressed its intent for Ian Perez to be its representative on the Downtown Board.
