BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
On February 19, 2026 the NBEDC approved four strategic priorities after the culmination of a 10-month Strategic Planning process. These priorities include: Workforce Support, Planning and Infrastructure, Enhancing Quality of Life, and Business Recruitment and Retention.
Staff will present on four upcoming planning and infrastructure projects and address next steps including funding requirements:
1. Citywide Pedestrian Improvements Phase 1 - Construction
2. Gruene Pedestrian Improvements - Final Design
3. AAMPO Citywide Pedestrian Project - Final Design
4. Coll Street Drainage Project
No action is being taken at this time. Any funding requests will be brought to the NBEDC at a future date via formal public hearing.
