BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Landa Park Golf Couse was authorized in 2013-14 to renovate the patio on the Club House. The back patio in on the west side of the golf course clubhouse and was one of the few items that did not get renovated during the 2013-2014 project. The current condition of the deck has resulted in the deck to be closed to golf course patrons. The back deck would be utilized for most tournaments after play for overspill from the dining room area.
The City issued Competitively Sealed Proposals, (CSP), for a new concrete patio and replacement of storefront windows with a new folding door on February 7, 2024. The City received four responses. After review and negotiations, the City is recommending AR6 Construction and Engineering, LLC for award. AR6 is working with staff to develop a construction schedule. The estimated cost of the contract as proposed is $318,971.
With an additional 10% in owner-controlled contingency total available project funds will be $350,868, which is within the established project budget.
ISSUE:
Continue as ongoing program of infrastructure construction and maintenance.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for the contract described above has been incorporated in the FY 2024 adopted budget for Landa Park Golf Course. Therefore, sufficient funds are available.
