BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The City has identified a continued need for uniform rentals, professional industrial cleaning services, and facility support services for rental and cleaning of mats, mops, towels, etc. Currently, the following departments use these services - Solid Waste, Public Works, and the Airport.
Our interlocal agreement with OMNIA Partners offers procurement and contract solutions that will allow the City to take advantage of bulk pricing for various commodities and services. The use of this cooperative contract satisfies the competitive bidding requirements. There is no charge to be a member of the OMNIA Partners Cooperative.
Staff is recommending approval of a contract with CINTAS Corporation with an annual spend of $120,000 and an initial contract term of 3 years, beginning May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2028. There will be two (2), one (1) year renewal options available to the City.

FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds for uniform rental/purchase and industrial cleaning services will be paid from each respective department’s annual operating budgets. Therefore, sufficient funds are available.
