BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
City Council approved the purchase of a replacement fire apparatus in January 2022 for $865,877 which was ordered from Siddons-Martin Emergency Group via a BuyBoard cooperative agreement. This is a 2022 Pierce-Custom Velocity Pumper. The order process allowed the city to order the vehicle based on a manufacturing base standard. The department worked with the manufacturer during pre-build process to identify the necessary changes to meet the city’s needs and standards. The cost for these changes and their installation is not-to-exceed $71,000. The adjusted total cost for the apparatus is $936,877.

FISCAL IMPACT:
