BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Section 4.1 of the Downtown Board bylaws state that each year, after June 1st and after City Council has appointed new Board members, the Board shall hold a meeting with at least a quorum and elect a Board Chair and Vice Chair. Per Section 4.2 of the Downtown Board bylaws, each officer shall hold his or her officer role for one (1) year - until the end of the Downtown Board calendar term of May 31, 2027.
