BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Currently the process to apply for a new water recreation shuttle permit is the same as renewing one. With this proposed change, there would be a separate renewal process that will be more efficient for the businesses that renew permits and for staff that inspect vehicles and process permits.

Currently the process of permitting water recreation shuttle vehicles is the responsibility of the City Secretary’s Office. With this proposed change, the permitting process would move to the River Operations Division, which is already in regular communication with the businesses that obtain water recreation shuttle permits.
