BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The current back deck is poor condition and unsafe for usage. This project renovation started over two years ago with the completion of the design drawings finished in October 2021. The budgeted project cost is $435,500. This project is supported by the capital allocation within the Golf Course Fund.
City staff recommends issuing an invitation for a Competitive Sealed Proposal (CSP) as the procurement method for the contract to construct these projects. The CSP method allows the City to evaluate the most qualified contractors and the best value for the project.
The recommendation to award contracts for these projects will be presented to the City Council for direction in the near future.
