BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Each year in May, the City of New Braunfels holds Saengerfest, a celebration downtown featuring live music, food, beverages, and other festivities. The City submitted the event details and road closure application to the Texas Department of Transportation who has, in turn, informed the City they must have a signed resolution and agreement in order to process the temporary road closure for the event.
ISSUE:
The City of New Braunfels must have a signed resolution indicating the intent to enter an agreement with TxDOT for the closure of a TxDOT maintained roadway.
