BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
On February 17, 2022, the New Braunfels Economic Development Corporation (“NBEDC”) approved a $1,200,000 grant to the Brauntex to support renovations and improve the Theatre’s audio and visual equipment. As the Brauntex provides cultural and entertainment experiences for visitors and residents, it helps to foster economic development within the downtown area. The New Braunfels City Council approved the NBEDC grant on February 28, 2022.
This presentation will provide an update from the Brauntex.
