BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Runoff Election date is Saturday, June 17, 2023, which was selected based on consultation with the Comal County Elections Office. The term for the current Councilmember for District Six, James Blakey, was set to expire on May 22, 2023, however, he will remain in office in a holdover status until the successor is elected by majority vote of all votes cast in the Runoff Election. This ordinance will only require one reading pursuant to Section 3.10 of the City Charter.
Early voting will be at:
Comal County Elections Office, 396 N. Seguin Avenue
Early Voting beginning on Monday, June 5 through Saturday June 10, Monday June 12, and Tuesday June 13.
June 5- June 9 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
June 10, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
June 12 & 13, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Election Day location will be at:
Former New Braunfels Police Department (Lobby) - 1488 S. Seguin Avenue
June 17 - 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
