BACKGROUND / RATIONALE:
The Landa Park Golf Course Advisory Board is made up of seven members serving three year staggered terms; one member each from the Landa Ladies Golf Association and the New Braunfels Golf Association, and five at-large members.
Vacancies were posted September 15 through November 14, 2017.
The following qualified application for the Landa Ladies Golf Association position was submitted:
• Rene Sasser
The following qualified application for the at-large positions were submitted:
• Rob Smith (incumbent since December 2014)
• Patrick Hollis (incumbent since December 2014)
• Shane Hines
• Jason Briggs
Applicant’s current & prior service on Boards and Commissions
Rene Sasser has no prior City of New Braunfels board or commission experience. The Landa Ladies Golf Association has appointed her to be their representative to the Landa Park Golf Course Advisory Board.
Rob Smith currently serves on the Landa Park Golf Course Advisory Board.
Patrick Hollis currently serves on the Landa Park Golf Course Advisory Board.
Shane Hines currently serves on the Building Standards Commission and the Downtown Board.
Jason Briggs was appointed to the Building Standards Commission on November 13.
