Approval of a BuyBoard contract with T.F. Harper & Associates, LLP for the purchase and installation of a playground shade structure at Solms Park.

BACKGROUND / RATIONALE:
The City Parks and Recreation Department identified the need for a playground shade structure at Solms Park. The Parks and Recreation Department applied for and received funding from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). CDBG funds have been allocated towards this project. The BuyBoard cost for the purchase and installation of the shade structure, which is a 4-post structure that is 46’ x 39,’ is $31,423.93 with an addition of $3,576 as project contingency.
The City is utilizing the BuyBoard Cooperative contract with T.F. Harper and Associates which fulfills the competitive procurement requirements.

FISCAL IMPACT:
