BACKGROUND / RATIONALE:
The purpose of this travel policy is to provide guidance to City Councilmembers related to travel while on official City of New Braunfels business.
The attached travel policy applies but is not limited to City business-related expenses including transportation, lodging, meals, parking, and miscellaneous expenses.

City Council travel will be budgeted annually during the budget process. Any changes in the adopted budget must be approved by a majority vote of the Council.
