Discuss and consider possible direction to staff regarding legislative priority recommendations to the Texas Municipal League for the upcoming 2019 Legislative Session.

BACKGROUND / RATIONALE:
The Texas Municipal League (TML) has requested that member cities submit resolutions with recommendations for consideration related to the TML’s advocacy efforts in the 2019 Legislative Session.
Resolutions must be submitted to TML no later than August 27, 2018 for consideration at the 2018 TML Annual Conference.
City staff is currently developing suggestions for legislative priorities for consideration by City Council and will provide a resolution at a future meeting based on direction from Council.
