BACKGROUND / RATIONALE:
The New Braunfels Utilities Board of Trustees has five members serving five-year staggered terms. Notice of vacancy was advertised from July 13, 2018 to August 15, 2018.
Three qualified applications were submitted for the New Braunfels Utilities Board of Trustees position vacancy:
• Judith Hoffmann (incumbent)
• Robert Meyer
• Domingo Villarreal
Applicants’ current & prior service on Boards and Commissions
Judith Hoffmann has served on the New Braunfels Utilities Board of Trustees since October 2007.
Thomas Meyer has served on the Building Standards Commission since June of 2018. He has served with the Airport Advisory Board since June 2017, and the Watershed Advisory Committee since August 2017. He graduated from City University in 2018.
Domingo Villarreal has no previous experience on City boards or commissions.
