Approval of a resolution recommended by the New Braunfels Economic Development Corporation authorizing an amendment to the professional services agreement with Douglas Architects, Inc.

BACKGROUND / RATIONALE:
At its meeting on October 24, 2018, the NBEDC Board approved an expenditure to provide up to $27,000 for a supplemental services agreement with Douglas Architects for work completed on the South Castell Master Plan. Specifically, the additional scopes provided two additional master plan options and an additional public meeting. Both work tasks were outside the original scope of the service agreement with the Company.
Additional Service #3 - Two Additional Masterplan Options - was for incorporation of two additional options in the Master Plan (Visioning) Section of the final report. While originally it was though that one final option would be presented in the report, there was a consensus to include three options. The services outlined in this proposal brought all three options to the same level as individual masterplan initiatives.
Additional Service #4 - Additional Public Meeting 6 was for Public Meeting number 6, which was not included in previous agreements.
