Approval of a resolution accepting the gift of a book vending kiosk for use by the public library for library services from the New Braunfels Public Library Foundation, Inc.

BACKGROUND / RATIONALE:
The New Braunfels Public Library Foundation, Inc., in consultation with the Library Director and Library Advisory Board, has purchased a 2012 International Library Services, Inc. (ILS) Book Dispensing Kiosk; and would like to give this kiosk to the City of New Braunfels with no restrictions as to use.

FISCAL IMPACT:
The kiosk is valued at $10,000. The public library has budgeted for the operation of the kiosk in the current fiscal year and subsequent fiscal years.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff has recommended approval of the acceptance of the gift.
