BACKGROUND / RATIONALE:

•                     The City Council/Planning Commission Ad Hoc Group met on June 12, 2019. Staff will provide an update on their discussions.

 

•                     The City is implementing new agenda management tools for boards and commissions. Staff will provide an update and overview.

 

•                     The Texas Legislature acted on and the Governor signed several bills that impact Texas cities. Staff will provide a summary list of those relevant to the Planning Commission, and will announce a forthcoming briefing presentation on a future agenda.

 

•                     Staff will provide an update on the Planning and Community Development Department organizational chart, roles and contact information.
