BACKGROUND / RATIONALE:
The Library Advisory Board has seven regular members serving three-year staggered terms. Members of the Library Advisory Board must possess a current City of New Braunfels Library card.
The vacancies for three positions were posted July 20, 2020 through September 14, 2020.
The following qualified applications were submitted:

• Susan Lyons
• Tracy Pavlu
• Amy Stone (incumbent)
• Erin Valkner
• James Whelpley
• Deborah Wigington (incumbent)
• Jacqueline Yarbrough-Whelpley
Applicants’ current & prior service on Boards and Commissions
Kristen Fain has no prior City of New Braunfels board or commission experience.
Joel Gonzales has no prior City of New Braunfels board or commission experience.
David Lerch is a member of the Partnership Committee, Building Standards Commission, and an alternate for the Zoning Board of Adjustment
Susan Lyons has no prior City of New Braunfels board or commission experience.
Tracy Pavlu has no prior City of New Braunfels board or commission experience.
Amy Stone is a current member of the Library Advisory Board. She also served on the 2016 San Antonio Street Bridge Steering Committee, the 2019 Bond Advisory Committee, and a 2014 City University graduate.
Erin Valkner has no prior City of New Braunfels board or commission experience.
James Whelpley has no prior City of New Braunfels board or commission experience.
Deborah Wigington is a current member of the Library Advisory Board.
Jacqueline Yarbrough-Whelpley has no prior City of New Braunfels board or commission experience.
