BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Staff received a formal written request from the Town Creek Property Owners Association for a no parking zone in Town Creek on Stadtbach St in front of the mailbox. A street area layout showing the proposed no parking zone and photos of vehicles parked in the area submitted by the POA are attached.
The adjacent property owner has been notified of the request.
ISSUE:

FISCAL IMPACT:
Traffic control signs cost approximately $150 each. Sufficient funding is available in the FY 2021 approved streets and drainage budget.
Recommendation
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends a loading zone instead of a no parking zone on Stadtbach St in front of the cluster mailbox. A loading zone prevents long term parking and allows short term access for USPS personnel and residents retrieving mail.
