BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Workforce Housing Advisory Committee’s (WHAC) purpose is to address the communities affordable and workforce housing needs.
The WHAC is composed of 11 members. Two of the spots are for representatives for New Braunfels Utilities and the Planning Commission. On October 28, 2021, the NBU Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Judith Dykes-Hoffmann as their representative to the WHAC. On October 6, 2021, the Planning Commission approved the appointment of Lee Edwards as their representative to the WHAC.
ISSUE:
Appointments to the WHAC require Council approval.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.

Staff recommends approval.
