Main Plaza Dedication for National Register of Historic Places

A dedication for the Main Plaza being listed on the National Register of Historic Places will take place Monday, July 4 as a part of the parade and program. The parade kicks off at 9:15 and the program will take place following the parade on the Main Plaza. Special guest David Vela, former Acting Director of the National Park Service, will join us for the special celebration.

 

Supervisors and Managers Update

                     Holly Platz hired as Nature Center Supervisor.

                     Michael Goodner (Assistant Aquatic Supervisor/LPAC) has been promoted to Guest Services and Marketing Supervisor at Das Rec

                     Brandon Chiuminetta, (Guest Services and Marketing Supervisor) has been promoted to Assistant Manager at Das Rec

                     Samantha (Sami) Morrison (Senior Administrative Assistant) has been promoted to Assistant Nature Center Supervisor

                     Shari Silvio (Administrative Secretary) has been promoted to Senior Administrative Assistant

                     Lisa Resendez (Guest Service Lead/Das Rec) has been promoted to Administrative Secretary

                     Cassie Paddock (Recreation Supervisor/Landa Rec) has accepted a position with City of Schertz Parks and Recreation. Her last day will be July 1, 2022.

Ken Wilson, Assistant Director

After ten years of dedicated and impressive service, Assistant Director Ken Wilson is leaving the City of New Braunfels to join the team at Marble Falls Parks and Recreation. Ken has been a part of many amazing things during his tenure including:
