BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Fire Department
There were six additional Firefighter positions included in the FY 2023 Proposed Budget for the Fire Department. The total number of authorized positions in the Fire Department in the attached ordinance is in accordance with the positions and funding included in the Proposed FY 2023 Budget.
Police Department
There were six additional Police Officer positions included in the FY 2023 Proposed Budget for the Police Department. The total number of authorized positions in the Police Department in the attached ordinance is in accordance with the positions and funding included in the Proposed FY 2023 Budget.

FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for all positions has been incorporated into the FY 2023 Proposed Budget. Therefore, sufficient funds are available.
