BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
This expenditure is for renewal and continuing implementation of an electronic plan review software (EPR) that integrates with the City’s current permitting database and provides functional improvements in the areas of document handling, markup functionality, push notifications to customers and staff, and reporting capability on key metrics as requested by City Council. A robust and competitive selection process resulted in the selection and purchase of Project Dox, an industry leader in electronic plan review, a product that transforms the way organizations review and approve projects and changes. Staff are recommending approval of the renewal to allow for continued implementation and use of the EPR software, Project Dox, to leverage the benefits of the latest technology in the review and permitting process. The contract renewal price for the software through Insight Public Sector SLED will total $100,312.50. The Project Dox application was purchased and will be renewed through Insight Public Sector SLED utilizing a cooperatively solicited contract with Omnia Partners, thereby satisfying the competitive procurement requirements.

FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds for these expenditures are incorporated into the FY 2024 Development Services Fund budget.
