Approval of the second and final reading of an ordinance to amend Article IV, Section 30-60 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of New Braunfels to change the membership for the Partnership Committee from 15 to 11, add a provision for absentee members, and minor clarifying edits.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Partnership Committee requested their ordinance to be amended to change their membership from 15 to 11 which will become effective September 1, 2024, when the Fall boards/commissions appointments are open for the application process, to add a provision for absentee members which will become effective March 1, 2024, and make changes to gender specific terms using generic verbiage which will become effective March 1, 2024. The Partnership Committee desires to streamline their ordinance to be up-to-date with their current by-laws.
